Since assuming operations of Unity Kitchen in September, Sonoma Family Meal has served over 6,000 meals per month and launched a new pantry to meet rising food insecurity among the Valley’s most vulnerable residents—while reducing food waste and investing in teen culinary training. RENEW: A Sustainable Culinary Celebration is a spring fundraiser supporting Sonoma Family Meal’s work at Unity Kitchen. Join us for a relaxed evening featuring creative, globally inspired bites made from upcycled ingredients—prepared by our teen culinary program students in collaboration with local chefs—alongside favorites from our Sabor food truck.
Enjoy local wine and beer, live music, lawn games, and an exciting raffle, while learning how we’re reducing food waste, training the next generation, and addressing food insecurity across Sonoma Valley.

NEW Life for Rescued Food
Through our partnership with ExtraFood, we’ve been able to establish a pantry program, reducing waste while strengthening food security across our community.
NEW Opportunities for Youth
In collaboration with Teen Services Sonoma (Boys & Girls Club), we’re expanding hands-on culinary training that empowers local youth with skills, confidence, and pathways to future employment.
RENEWed Unity Kitchen
With critical upgrades to our kitchen, including a new hot line, we’ll be able to expand our capacity to serve more meals more efficiently, as demand for our services continues to grow.
