Before SFM was even launched, John and Gesine said “Yes” to whatever it was we needed. On the first day of service, the restaurant opened its doors wide, invited us in and inspired us to actually start cooking some of the tons of produce and food arriving at the kitchen doors. John’s team has continued to make thousands of meals each week in addition to their regular restaurant hours. We can never thank them enough. Never.
Ken ODonnell arrived in our kitchen quietly, rolling his sleeves up and tackling a mountain of dishes. Every single day. Most of us didn’t even know that he owned McNears until days later when he dropped off a check for our project. Ever since, Ken has been a huge supporter and his staff have given countless hours making meals for us. He’s bought us equipment and worked tirelessly for SFM.
